Hand Crafted Bespoke Furniture by Design

Stephen Mitchell uses skills acquired as a boat builder to create the clean flowing lines found in his work. He combines his natural flare for design with traditional cabinet making techniques to create fine unique pieces of furniture and sculptural works. He sources and dries native hardwoods and derives inspiration from the elegant forms found in nature.

Stephen will work with his client on planning and advising the best design for their requirements.

Stephen loves working with all types of wood in many and varied projects. He enjoys a challange and is willing do discuss any requirements the client may have. He especially likes creating sculptural pieces. Taking pride in his work, Stephen never creates the same thing twice - keeping it original.
